Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
Archi.vé is a private photo journal for architects, created by Sami Abdulnour (“we”, “the developer”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: we don’t collect it.
What the app stores
- Photos and their tags you create in the app.
- Optional location of a photo (if you grant location access), stored on the photo so it can appear on the in-app Map.
- Your settings (e.g. appearance, capture-flow preferences).
Where it is stored
- All of the above is stored locally on your device.
- If you are signed in to iCloud, this data also syncs to your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit), so it is available on your other devices and backed up. This data lives in your personal iCloud space — the developer cannot access it.
What we collect
Nothing. Archi.vé has no developer server, no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking or SDKs. We do not receive, see, or transmit your photos, tags, location, or any other data.
Permissions
- Camera — used only to take photos within the app.
- Location (optional) — used only while capturing, to tag a photo with where it was taken. You can decline; the app works without it.
- Photo Library (optional) — only if you choose to import existing photos, save your shots to Photos, or capture an exhibition label.
Your control
- You can delete any photo, or all photos, at any time in the app.
- You can export a full backup to the Files app.
- Deleting the app removes its on-device data. iCloud-synced data can be removed from your iCloud settings.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages (4+) and collects no data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above will change accordingly.
